YOU SHALL OVERTAKE AND RECOVER ALL
So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”
I Samuel 30:8 NKJV

Praise God hallelujah. We serve an awesome God and in this year of 2023, He is going to bless you with divine and acceleration speed. God is going to anoint you with the anointing of Jehu which will enable you to overtake your enemies and recover all. The word of God in Matthew 11:12 the Bible says that since the time of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent ones take it by force!

My beloved brothers and sisters take by force everything that the enemy stole from you prayerfully!

In the opening verse the word of God gives an account of David going to the battle with his army against the Amalekites. They won over them and returning to the city of Ziklag , they found that the city had been burned down and their wives, sons and daughters were missing. And the men of war were angry each crying for their families and even threatened to stone David. But David comforted himself in the Lord.

He consulted the Lord asking Him whether he should pursue his enemies and the Lord told him to pursue them for He would overtake them and recover all.

My beloved the same way David overtook his enemies and recovered all, so shall it be for you in Jesus name. In 2023 you shall overtake your enemies and recover all.

Let’s Pray

Father In the Name of Jesus, l thank you for this is my year to overtake and recover all. I decree and declare that every blessing that was diverted from me is locating me speedily in Jesus Name Amen 🙏

Faith

Thank You for the faith to believe in You for the things that I can’t yet see.

Faith is simply having confidence for what you hope for. In the U.S, we have insurance. We spend thousands and thousands of dollars during our lifetime to be prepared for what might happen. God doesn’t give us insurance.

He gives us assurance and all He is asking us to do is to have confidence in what we are hoping and praying for. What are you unsure of today?

Just maybe it’s faith that your marriage will be filled with passion again. Maybe it’s faith that your children will serve God. Albeit maybe its faith to believe God will help you in school.

All in all you just need faith just to believe that God loves you and has a plan for your life.

Prayer – God, I thank You today for giving me the faith to believe You- to believe in the things that I cannot see.

I confess that I have doubted and even given up in certain areas of my life. Today, I ask that You stir up a mountain-moving faith in my heart.

Let faith rise up with in me to walk in that confident assurance that You are moving in big ways on my behalf. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Now Faith

Deliverance

The Father says today, above all weep no more my beloved, for I have prevailed in the battle for your deliverance. You will now walk in a kind of liberty that you have not experienced before.

The enemy laid a claim to your soul by some illegitimate means, of which you were unaware. You were blindsided by this, and hence the incessant battles and contentions for your soul and destiny. I have overruled him and your soul now escapes his clutches like a bird out of a cage, says God.

All things considered you are mine, and I formed you in my image and likeness and breathed into you the breath of life, you will now experience the God kind of life, says the Father.

My beloved, as a matter of fact the seal for the next step of your life is now broken for me to wipe the slate clean and give you a fresh start. It will be like nothing ever happened. I will renew your youth, and you will have a new zeal for kingdom businesses.

Come and let’s reason together and I will execute my plan for you because I promised to restore your fortunes and make all things new, says God. Come and engage me in worship and I will whisper things to you.

I am the still small voice between your ears, showing you the way and the pathway. This is the right way to the new day,  a day that burns like an oven, where all things are bright and beautiful, says the Father.

Are You in a Battle?

If there is one thing that I’ve learned from God, it is how to fight. The key: DON’T GIVE UP!  Stand firm for the Lord and apply what we call “knee therapy” – get down on your knees and pray, pray, pray!

Battles can appear to be frightening, exhausting, never ending, challenging, and full of mountains that just won’t move. Do you know what the beauty of God is like when you are in your battles?

He walks you through it. And, the journey with Him, as well as the outcome, is always greater than anything you can ever imagine.

God’s love in the midst of the battle

God loves you so much and He is so full of surprises that even in the midst of the battles and your weakest moments, He will bless you.

He will put the right things in your hands, the right Spiritual tools to comfort you, guide you and show you the way He wants you to go.

What I love about God when I am in my battles, is His assurance that He is with you wherever you go. He will reveal Himself to you in sometimes small, sometimes big, but always in powerful ways.

I also love how He teaches us to fight. It is in the way that the world cannot understand. In Ephesians 6, we wear His armor and we fight with truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation and the Word of God. Have you used these? Every single piece of the  armor has the strength and power of God.

The Armor of God

Speak the truth, as only the Truth WILL set you free. Jesus said He is the Truth.

Put on righteousness. Make sure what you do during your battle is morally right. Make no compromises.

Walk in peace. God is in control and He has you in His righteous right hand where no one can get a hold of you. Remind yourself time and time again of where you are. You can rest in the Lord when you walk in peace.

Take up the shield of faith. I’ve used Jesus as the shield between my battle and me. I’ve asked Him to step in front of me to protect me. He does.

Protect your eyes, ears and mind with the helmet of salvation. Be careful what you see, hear and put into your mind.

Finally the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Call out your scriptures and tell God what you are feeling and what He promised to do for you. Fight with the Word.

Finally, the greatest weapon there is, is love. It breaks all chains and barriers. Learn how to forgive and just love, but learn from the Spirit.

Prayer: Spiritual Warfare

Heavenly Father, we bow before You to give thanks for Jesus. He showed us how to fight. In His life and crucifixion, Father, we can see exactly how Jesus used the Armor of God.

We thank you for the Apostle Paul and for using him in such a powerful way. There are so many things that Jesus and Paul taught us, Father and we have seen from their lives, how to fight a good fight.

1 John 4:4 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

I pray that you will equip my brothers and sisters around the world with the armor of God and teach them how to use the pieces.

I also pray for the strength that we need to fight our battles. You said “No weapon formed against us will ever prosper” and I ask in Jesus’s name that you fulfill this in our lives. Thank you for uplifting our bodies, minds and Spirits each and every day. In Jesus’s name we pray. Amen.

1 Pet. 5:8-9 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith.

HIS GRACE AT WORK IN YOU

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8)

The Bible says, “And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance…” (2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC). That means the Lord directs grace towards you. Grace brings acceptability, honour, and dignity; it attracts the right people, circumstances and  resources to you, in line with God’s purpose for your life.

Every so often, declare, “I walk and function in grace; grace sets me apart for glory and excellence. I’m a child of grace.” The Bible says to take advantage of the of the grace that’s in Christ Jesus. With this grace, you can be successful in any and every endeavour.

Become conscious of what we read in our theme verse; it says God is able to make ALL grace to abound towards you; and He did in Christ Jesus. The Bible says of His fullness have we all received grace heaped upon grace  (John 1:16). Then Paul tells us the result of having received this overflow and superfluity of grace: “…much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:17).

Grace causes us to reign (to “king”) in life. That means you’re in dominion; you’re ruling over demons, sickness and disease, poverty, failure and death through Christ Jesus. Because His grace is at work in you, what others struggle for will always come to you naturally, by free course. *Hallelujah!*

DRAW DEEPER

2 Peter 1:2-3 TPT May grace and perfect peace cascade over you as you live in the rich knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. *3* Everything we could ever need for life and complete  devotion to God has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness.

#James 4:6 MSG And what he gives in love is far better than anything else you’ll find. It’s common knowledge that “God goes against the willful proud; God gives grace to the willing humble.”

2 Peter 3:18 TPT But continue to grow and increase in God’s grace and intimacy with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May he receive all the glory both now and until the day eternity begins. Amen!

Jesus’ Example of Grace for Our Speech

You are fairer than the sons of men; grace is poured upon Your lips . . . Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one. (Psa_45:2 and Col_4:6)

In our two previous meditations, we saw Jesus as our two-fold example. First, He exemplified the suffering that prepares us for more of God’s grace to work in our lives. Second, He exemplified the related issue of God’s grace developing our lives comprehensively. Now, we consider Jesus’ example of grace for our speech.

Centuries before the Messiah (Jesus) came into this world, the Psalmist prophesied of the words of grace that would flow from His mouth. “You are fairer than the sons of men; grace is poured upon Your lips.” The manner in which the grace of God guided and poured forth through the words of Jesus set His speech above that of every other person. Those who listened to Him during His earthly pilgrimage testified of this fact. “All bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth” (Luk_4:22). One of the distinctive aspects of Jesus’ words was the unique authority that this outpoured grace imparted.

“Then He went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and was teaching them on the Sabbaths. And they were astonished at His teaching, for His word was with authority” (Luk_4:31-32). At one point in Jesus’ ministry, the Jewish leaders wanted the temple officers to take Jesus into custody, but they returned empty-handed. “Then the officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them, ‘Why have you not brought Him?’ The officers answered, “No man ever spoke like this Man!’ ” (Joh_7:45-46).

The Lord intends for this same grace to impact our speech. “Let your speech always be with grace.” When we humbly allow the Lord to flood our speech with His grace, our words have a heavenly flavor to them: “seasoned with salt.” His grace will also add heavenly wisdom to our words: “that you may know how you ought to answer each one.” This causes our speech to be edifying to others, because our words are ministering God’s grace into their lives. “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers” (Eph_4:29).
Lord Jesus, Your words are the kind of words I want to speak—words permeated with the grace of God.

Prayer

Please forgive me for the many words I have expressed that were corrupted by my own fleshly wisdom or selfish interests. I humbly ask You to season my speech with heavenly righteousness and godly insight. I long to impart edifying grace to all who hear me speak. In Your holy name, I pray, Amen.
